K.Tokaev: Czech Republic our important partner in EU
K. Toktaev highly appraised the decision of Prague to support the conduction of the EXPO-2017 and personal participation of President Milos Zeman in the opening of the International exhibition. The heads of the upper chambers of parliaments of the two countries will have speeches during the start of the National Day of the Czech Republic within the territory of the EXPO-2017.
The Czech Republic, as was noted by K. Tokaev, is a key partner of Kazakhstan in the European Union. The productive dialogue was established by the Heads of our States, by the Governments and by the business circles. The cooperation of legislative bodies has reached a dynamic nature.
According to the press service of the Senate, K.Tokaev expressed his gratitude to M. Ste?h for the fact that the Czech Republic was among the firsts which had ratified the Agreement on the expanded partnership and cooperation between the EU and Kazakhstan. The agreement, according to the representative of the Senate, enabled to activate the interaction with the EU, which is the largest partner in trade and economy as well as in investment spheres.
The potential for our further contacts expanding K. Tokaev connects with the realization of the large international transport and infrastructure projects, which will connect the Asia with the Europe. Kazakhstan plays an important role in the realization of the Chinese initiative One belt � one road, which will be close with the program Nurly Zhol implementing in our country.
The interlocutors have also discussed the perspectives on further development of trade and economic, investment and humanitarian relations.
M. Stech showed an interest in the realizing in Kazakhstan political and economic reforms, as well as in the privatization program of state plants.
The speaker of the Czech senate noted, that the high level of interparliamentary dialogue is a key element of the traditionally friendly relations of the two states.
At the ending of the meeting, M. Stech invited his Kazakhstan counterpart with the official visit to the Czech Republic.
