K. Kozhamzharov noted transparency of current “Astana EXPO-2017” management’s work
As reported in the national company, a year ago an Agreement on cooperation with the Anti-Corruption Agency had been signed. A document is designed to promote the effectiveness of cooperation through joint and concerted actions on the principles of constructiveness and transparency.
According to A. Yessimov, the signed Agreement became timely and increased the responsibility among general contractors. All contracts concluded by the national company included anti-corruption requirements, which allowed to minimize risks when signing such contracts.
In addition, measures on tightening of the pricing of goods, works and services, which allowed saving only on the construction of EXPO facilities, excluding operating activities, by 302 billion tenge had been taken. The Kazakhstan content increased, new jobs were created (50,000) and domestic production was supported (goods worth 53.2 billion tenge were purchased).
K. Kozhamzharov in turn noted transparency in the work of the current management of the national company.
“I want to thank for the assistance of our colleagues and assure that all measures taken will lead to the fact that we avoid any misunderstandings in terms of compliance with the law”, – the Head of the Anti-Corruption Service said.
