“The Cabinet of Ministers aims to make this project a national, which will not only stimulate and establish production in rural areas of our country, solve the problems of unemployment, develop applied production, but also improve the socio-economic situation of the rural population. We are ready to discuss the model of financing this program by the state with the involvement of large international development institutes. We want this program to become the main national priority of the next budget year. From now on the main assessment of local authorities and employees of the Presidential Administration, supervising the regions, will be the development of this project,” Zhaparov said, , expressing gratitude to the Japanese Government, the Embassy of Japan in Kyrgyzstan, JICA for implementation of an important project for the republic and its population in Kyrgyzstan.

JICA’s permanent representative in the republic Kawamoto Hiroyuki noted the effectiveness of the socio-economic project and expressed willingness to further develop the project, taking into account the priorities identified by the Cabinet of Ministers.

To date, about 593 production products have been developed, some of them have already received a regional brand and are being promoted in Bishkek, as well as exported to foreign countries. The project supports producers by generating new ideas and creating new products.
