Jeenbekov congratulates on History and Memory of Ancestors Day in Kyrgyzstan
President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov sent an appeal to the people of Kyrgyzstan in honor of the celebration of the Day of History and Memory of the Ancestors, his press service said.
The text of the appeal:
On this day, we recall the fateful pages of our history, and pay tribute to the memory of our ancestors.
Having passed through centuries of difficult experiences, our grandfathers have given us a story that we are proud of.
In the Middle Ages, they created the Kyrgyz great power, later having lost statehood, they underwent difficult tests of history.
At the risk of their own lives, they kept in their hearts the idea of statehood and fought a relentless struggle for freedom.
Our fathers survived the Great uprising Urkun, the October Revolution.
Thanks to the decisive struggle of prominent statesmen of the Soviet era in 1924, the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region was created as part of the RSFSR. Then, in 1936, it was transformed into the Kyrgyz SSR.
These fateful transformations were paid for at the cost of the lives of the outstanding sons of the Fatherland who fell victims of political repression.
In 1991, the centuries-old dream of our people came true, we regained our independent statehood.
Today, before the bright memory of our ancestors, we feel a historical responsibility for the future of our state.
History shows that the unity of our people is above all, there is nothing more valuable than the Motherland.
We must protect the Fatherland as the apple of an eye, pass on to the next generation a developed country.
Preserving ethnic and religious diversity, strengthening the unity of the people, we will create a prosperous Kyrgyzstan!
May there be peace and harmony in our land!
May the Almighty Creator support our beloved Kyrgyzstan!
