It’s planned to grow more than 20 tons of lemons in Turkestan
The greenhouse was opened 3 years ago. The area of the greenhouse is 3 hectares, 2 hectares of which are occupied by tomatoes, cucumbers and Dutch roses.
In 2016, the range of the farmed products was increased, and the owner was engaged in the cultivation of lemons of the Tashkent varieties.
According to the experts, at the beginning for the project development the bank allocated 130 million tenge under the 16% per annum, of which “Damu” Fund subsidized 10% interest rate, while the remaining 6% is paid by the entrepreneur.
The borrowed money helped to built the greenhouse complex, purchase 1,300 seedlings of lemon. Seedlings are planted in the ground, the landing area is 1-ha, the temperature is kept at a level not below +10 C, heated by coal.
The expected harvest will be 26 tons of lemon.
