Due to the storm warning and heavy snowfall announced in Turkey, Turkish Airlines and Pegasus Airlines postponed a number of flights on the Istanbul-Bishkek flights.
The Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Istanbul reported that the air carriers are currently organizing meals and temporary accommodation as passengers apply. According to official information, as the weather conditions improve, passengers will be provided with tickets for the resumed flights.
“In order to provide as much assistance as possible employees of the Consulate General visited Istanbul International Airport, citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic are assisted by the airlines in organizing meals and timely information by sending messages about the resumption of flights,” the report said.
