Issyk-Kul to host 11th plenary session of TurkPA

Cholpon-Ata town of Kyrgyzstan’s Issyk-Kul Oblast will host the 11th plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking Countries (TurkPA) on June 23-24, the press service of the Kyrgyz Parliament reported Tuesday.

In order to get acquainted with the course of preparation for the above international event, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Talant Mamytov is making a working trip to Cholpon-Ata.

At a special meeting, information was heard on the execution of protocol orders by ministries, agencies and local governments. Besides, the speaker familiarized with the readiness of facilities to receive distinguished guests on the spot.

The 11th plenary session of TurkPA will be attended by parliamentary delegations of Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, which are the member states of this organization, as well as Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Hungary.

The sides are expected to discuss the issues of deepening and expanding inter-parliamentary ties, approve the strategic roadmap of the TurkPA for 2023-2028 and consider the model bills on the support and development of social entrepreneurship.
