Issues of Kazakh-Kyrgyz cooperation in the field of digitalization discussed in Bishkek
Twenty-nine companies from Kazakhstan presented more than 80 IT solutions in ICT to representatives of Kyrgyzstan. Developments in healthcare, education, information technology, telecommunications, Smart City, transport, security, economics and finance have attracted interest from government agencies and large companies in Kyrgyzstan.
The result of the trip was the signing of two memorandums on cooperation between Kazakhstani IT companies and Kyrgyztelecom OJSC, Kyrgyz Post SE. Also as part of the visit, Vice Minister of Information and Communications of Kazakhstan Dinara Shcheglova held a presentation of the Astana Hub International Technopark.
In the closing meeting, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Zhumagaliyev and Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Zamirbek Askarov took part. Zhumagaliyev told the Kyrgyz side about the Digital Kazakhstan State Program and invited to the technical opening of the Astana Hub pavilion, which will be held on July 3, 2018.
In his turn, Zamirbek Askarov stressed the strategic importance of cooperation with Kazakhstan and the great potential in the field of IT.
Chairman of the State Committee of Information Technologies and Communications of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Sharshimbiyev thanked the Kazakh delegation for the visit and noted that the presented solutions are in demand in Kyrgyzsta
As part of the trip, events were also held to exchange experience between the Ministry of Information and Communications of Kazakhstan and the State Committee of Information Technologies of the Kyrgyz Republic. The two sides discussed the experience of the two countries in the field of large data, cloud technologies, electronic document management and agreed on the development of memorandums and agreements.
At the end of the trip, Askar Zhumagaliyev held a meeting with IT companies, where the results of the work were discussed. Representatives of the company noted the effectiveness of the event and expressed their readiness to participate in similar trips to other countries.
