ISRAELI INVESTORS TO CARRY OUT LARGE PROJECTS IN AKMOLA REGION
Governor Yermek Marzhikpaev of Akmola region has met with the President of Israel’s Amos VP Agro LTD Vladimir Polevoi today, the press service of the Governor’s Office of Akmola region reports.
Vladimir Polevoi has proposed to consider the possibility of building a goose farm in the region with a production capacity of 10 thousand tons of meat per year, as well as a salmon fishery, with total investments of about $100 million.
The implementation of projects does not require state guarantees.
Foreign financing is about to reach 85% as the company plans to increase its portfolio of projects in the region in the future.
We welcome the contribution of foreign investors to the country’s economy, in ensuring its sustainable development. The creation of a favorable investment climate has been and remains among our top priorities, Yermek Marzhikpaev said.
According to him, the region’s Governor’s Office is as open for cooperation and willing to help with project implementation.
The meeting ended with the signing of a memorandum on cooperation between the Governor’s Office of Akmola region and Amos VP Agro LTD.
Akmola region is responsible for the production of 40% of trucks, 35% of gold, 10% of uranium compounds, 24% of poultry meat, 16% of edible eggs, 11% of flour and milk on a national scale.
