The national team of Kyrgyzstan entered the top ten strong teams in the Islamic Solidarity Games in Turkiye.
Kyrgyz athletes won 26 medals – 8 gold, 8 silver and 10 bronze. The national team of Kyrgyzstan also has 5 small bronze medals in weightlifting and one gold in traditional archery, which was not taken into account in the medal standings.
The Islamic Solidarity Games are being held for the fifth time. In 2021, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the games were postponed to August 2022.
