International transport corridor promotes development of tourism
“Roads are of particular importance. Even in ancient times many large cities were located along the Great Silk Road. At the present time, along such main roads, the whole life is concentrated. Therefore, we need to give the most serious importance to the development of roadside services and infrastructure facilities, which, in turn, must meet modern requirements. Only then the influx of tourists to the region will increase”, Zh. Tuymebayev said.
According to Governor’s Office of the region, in order to create convenience for passengers, the Governor of the region commissioned to build along the above highway petrol stations, shops, cafes and small motels.
It should be noted that repair works are currently carried out on some sections of the road. The Governor of the region instructed the heads of foreign contract organizations to finish all the works no later than September 1 this year.
