Increase in beef prices observed in Kyrgyzstan

In Kyrgyzstan, the price of beef has risen by KGS 17.5 in a month, and mutton – by KGS 5.6, the National Statistics Committee of the republic said.
Thus, in June 2022 the average price of beef across the republic was KGS 499.9, and in July 2022 – KGS 517.4.
Naryn (546.1), Bishkek (530) and Balykchy (522.8) account for the largest increase in price of beef.
In turn, prices for horsemeat went up by KGS 14.8 (June – KGS 449.5, July – KGS 464.3) and prices for mutton – by KGS 5.6 (June – KGS 527.5, July – KGS 531.1).
