Incidence of ARVI in Kyrgyzstan deceases by about quarter compared to 2018
In 2019, the Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance of Bishkek registered 66538 cases of acute respiratory viral infection (ARVI), Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Bishkek Sydygaliyev said.
According to him, 85936 cases were registered in 2018.
This year’s indicators decreased by 24.4 per cent.
Of particular importance is the mass prevalence of infection, where children under 14 years of age account for more than 62%.
Currently, ARVI continues to be difficult to control infections.
2533 cases of the ARVI were registered on Jan. 1 7, 2020.
