In the anti-corruption service – the “reset” of personnel work

A high-quality update of the staff of the anti-corruption service has relied on young people, the reports.

Currently, the transformation of the activities of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and personnel policy, in particular, is well underway. The main vector of these reforms is to ensure high confidence of citizens in the work of the National Bureau. A transition has been made from the method of accepting candidates generally accepted among law enforcement agencies, namely, transfer between departments and reinstatement in the service of former employees to a competitive selection. Now all ordinary and senior positions of the anti-corruption service are being replaced on a competitive basis, said Akbilek Myadyeva, head of the Human Resources Department of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau.

As Akbilek Myadiyeva emphasized, priority is given to young talented people with creative thinking and a modern view on established things.

She noted that today the initiative of the head of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption Shpekbayev A.Zh. has been successfully implemented. on staff optimization.

According to Akbilek Myadiyova, the National Bureau was the first among law enforcement agencies to centralize and automate the activities of auxiliary services, such as personnel, legal services, financial and business units. This made it possible to optimize the department’s business processes, to free up manpower and resources for the implementation of the main tasks.

The result of this work was a reduction in administrative expenses in the amount of more than 1 billion tenge, a twofold increase in the salaries of the National Bureau’s employees, comparable to the level of earnings in the corporate sector. According to Akbilek Myadiyova, the measures taken have increased the prestige of the anti-corruption service and strengthened the social status of employees.
