Implementation of the “Reconciliation Procedures” Project: From the beginning of the year 76% of all cases were resolved by the parties’ reconciliation

The Saryarka district court of Astana started the “Reconciliation Procedures” project just one year ago. In the course of the project implementation, the parties are encouraged to consider the dispute in an alternative way with involvement of mediators, lawyers and reconciliatory judges.

For example, since the beginning of the year, 76% of all cases have been solved through the reconciliation of the parties through the conciliatory jurisdiction. 96% of the respondents rated the project as “very good” and noted that it was efficient in terms of time and money. In addition, resolving disputes through conciliation contributes to the preservation of human relations.

Consolidation of a number of obligations within a year, in particular by the parties, by means of coercion, breach of contract and termination of validity, consumer protection, land dispute, property disposition, debt, damage, wage, moral damage, insurance benefit, , disputes about unjustified enrichment and marriage. This helped save 180 families without shaking their shanyrak. As a result, more than 300 children remained in their families and received parental care.

About 1 to 2% of the judgments on mediation and peacekeeping agreements were filed. The appeal left the judgments unchanged. In this regard, all the provisions on ratification of the peaceful settlement of the dispute have been legitimate and substantiated. 80% of the judgments are executed by the parties without interfering with the bailiffs themselves.
