As the Minister of National Economy Timur Suleimenov noted, in the framework of the first direction of the program � the development of road industry � 4.4 thousand km of roads were reconstructed.

This is a record figure compared to the previous years, when 2 thousand km of roads were reconstructed on the average, Timur Suleimenov said.

As a result, 600 km areas on 22 road projects were reconstructed, which is 100% of the plan.

In the framework of the second direction implementation of logistics projects to increase the transit potential of the country, train ferry terminal of the Kuryk port has been launched.

The target figure for cargo transshipment has been overfulfilled by 50% on this project and amounted to 1.5 million tons. Moreover, in December 2017 the test launch of the car ferry terminal was held in the Kuryk port, Minister of National Economy Timur Suleimenov noted.

Full completion of the car ferry terminal is planned for 2018. Its project capacity will be 2 million tons of cargo per year. Total project capacity of the Kuryk port will be 6 million tons per year.

In the framework of the third direction of the Nurly Zhol program modernization of housing and communal services � 765 km of utility systems have been built and modernized with the plan of 700 km.

I would like to note that financing of housing and communal services modernization in the framework of Nurly Zhol, reduced deterioration of utility systems in the country from 67% to 60%, T. Suleimenov said.

This year it is planned to build and reconstruct nearly 800 km of utility systems, this will reduce this figure by 3%.

In the framework of the fourth direction elimination of crumbling school buildings and three-shift education � following the 2017 results, 73 schools out of 76 planned have been commissioned.

According to the information of the MES RK, the remaining education facilities will be commissioned by the end of the first quarter this year. In total, in the years of implementation of the State Program, more than 108 schools have been commissioned, Timur Suleimenov said.

In the framework of the fifth direction infrastructure provision for SMEs 20 SME projects have been provided with necessary infrastructure, including 2 industrial zones in Kostanay and Almaty regions.

Following the 2017 results, 28 tenge of private investments have been attracted per 1 tenge of budget fundsa. The total amount of investments reached 410 billion tenge.

Investment projects are represented in food industry (3 projects), agriculture (7 projects), light industry (1 project), production of construction materials and pharmaceuticals (5 projects), and so on.

In the framework of the sixth task co-financing of the projects with the international financial organizations (IFO) � in 2017 as part of the Framework Agreements on Partnership with International Financial Organizations, the funds on co-financing have been raised on 15 projects. These projects are aimed at the modernization of municipal systems of heat and water supply, development of small and medium business, stimulation of effective innovations, development of labor skills and creation of jobs, improvement of irrigation and drainage systems.

In 2017, the agreements were ratified and the implementation of two government loan projects for $366.4 million begun, $320 million of them are the IFO funds.

Minister of Finance, Bakhyt Sultanov, in his turn reported that the Nurly Zhol program was the main priority of 2017 expenditures. Budgetary part of the State Program has been executed for 472.3 billion tenge, or 99.9%. The funds for the construction and reconstruction of roads, rebuilding of the International Terminal of Astana Airport, as well as on the subsidizing of construction, reconstruction, and modernization of heat, water supply and wastewater disposal systems have been fully executed. At the local level, the execution of funds amounted to 98.7% to the allocated sum (127.4 billion tenge).

In 2018, 488.5 billion tenge were allocated for the State Program. For 1 Mart this year, central and local executive bodies have undertaken obligations for 208.3 billion tenge or 49.6% of the year plan.
