Idrissov reported to Kazakh President on preparations for work within forthcoming Kazakhstan’s membership in UNSC

During the meeting, Mr. Idrissov has reported to the President on the preparations for the work within the forthcoming Kazakhstan’s membership in the UN Security Council, which will start from January 2017.

Kazakhstan’s President has noted the need to pay attention during the foreign policy for the 25th anniversary of Independence of the country.

“Our Ambassadors should show the achievements of the country over the past 25 years, including the contribution of Kazakhstan to the preservation of peace and tranquility outside the country in order to increase country’s prestige in the international arena”, Nursultan Nazarbayev has said.

At the same time, the President has stressed the importance of visits of our country by foreign official delegations.

Pointing to priority activities carried out within the framework of the forthcoming membership in the UN Security Council, the President of Kazakhstan has said that the mission is an expression of special confidence of the international community.

The Foreign Minister has said that the preparation for the activities of the Security Council is in its active phase, carried out the distribution management of the Standing Committees.

In addition, Ye. Idrissov has reported on the planned holding of a representative international conference in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Independence of the country.

The Foreign Minister has informed the President of Kazakhstan on the upcoming international events, the main of which is the holding of the international exhibition “EXPO-2017”.
