Heads of working groups on spiritual modernization defined

Akorda held the first meeting of the National Commission on implementation of the program for modernization of public consciousness under the President of Kazakhstan chaired by head of the Presidential Administration Adilbek Dzhaksybekov.

In his speech A. Dzhaksybekov stressed that modernization of public consciousness is not only the most responsible but also the most difficult part of the reforms on which the result of both political and economic transformations in the country depends.

“The Head of State defined the directions of development of our nation, every Kazakhstani for success in the XXI century. It is not just the creation of new institutions and the adoption of legal norms. We are talking about a systematic renewal of relations in the society”, Adilbek Dzhaksybekov said.

He stressed that achieving this goal requires non-standard approaches, extraordinary solutions. It is necessary to consolidate the efforts of all central and local state bodies, the public sector.

In this regard, the composition of the National Commission includes the Ministers, Governors, representatives of leading socio-political associations, scientific, educational, expert organizations. During the meeting of the National Commission, the heads of the working groups were named. The group on the transition of the state language to the Latin alphabet will be headed by director of the Institute of Linguistics Yerden Kazhybek; group on the “New Humanitarian Knowledge. 100 new textbooks in the Kazakh language” project � by Minister of Education and Science Yerlan Sagadiyev and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Wikibilim Public Foundation Rauan Kenzhekhanuly; on the “Tugan Zher” project – Deputy head of the Presidential Administration Ondasyn Urazalin and rector of Eurasian National University Yerlan Sydykov; on the “Sacral Geography of Kazakhstan” project – Minister of Culture and Sports Arystanbek Mukhamediuly and director of the Institute of History and Ethnology Khangeldy Abzhanov; on the “Modern Kazakhstan culture in the global world” project – head of the Internal Policy Department Aida Balayeva and Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov; on the “100 new persons of Kazakhstan” project – head of the APK Secretariat Darkhan Mynbai and Minister of Information and Communications Dauren Abayev.

The Chairman of the National Commission instructed the heads of the groups to involve leading experts in the work.

“I call on the active participation also of political parties, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken”, public associations, experts, scientists. The Commission is ready to consider the proposals of all citizens of Kazakhstan”, Adilbek Dzhaksybekov said.
