Head of State receives Chairman of Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption Agency K. Kozhamzharov

During the meeting K. Kozhamzharov informed the Head of State about the current activities of the Agency, as well as reported of work carried out within the framework of the National Plan 100 Precise steps.

Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed the importance of the bonus system implemented to stimulate public servants by reducing unoccupied vacant positions in the central government and local executive bodies and redistributing payroll.

K. Kozhamzharov told about the course of the appraisal of Corps B civil servants, noting the good results from those certified. According to him, today the Higher Attestation Commission held 14 meetings; at the national level, more than 700 employees have already been interviewed.

The Chairman also reported on proposals of reforming the administrative Corps A, which suggest reducing several posts related to this category of employees.

The President of Kazakhstan also fixed on the need to conduct quality work on the fight against corruption and its systematic prevention.

Criminal prosecution should be carried out strictly within the law. Citizens must not be detained without valid justification and evidence, � Nursultan Nazarbayev noted.

Following the meeting the Head of State gave a number of specific instructions.
