He gave instructions to President Sultanov


The President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, held a number of meetings, the press service of Akorda reports.

Mayor of Nur-Sultan Bakhyt Sultanov informed the President on the main socio-economic indicators of the city in 2018.

Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev also got acquainted with the complex plan of the capital for 2019-2023, which provides for the launch of all necessary engineering and transport infrastructure.

Besides, Kasym-Jomart Tokayev listened to the report on the measures taken to provide social support to the citizens with disabilities, as well as the report on provision of housing to poor and large families.

At the end of the meeting the Head of State gave a number of specific instructions on the further development of the city, including the city’s culture, the city’s culture and the city, for the proper accomplishment of streets, parks and gardens.

In addition, the President received the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Shakirov. During the meeting, the President was informed about the work of the Ombudsman, as well as on human rights in the country.

Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev stressed the need to work with interested government agencies to ensure that the basic rights and interests of poor people, including poor families and mothers with many children, and the cruelty of convicts.

Besides, Minister of Agriculture Saparkhan Omarov informed the President on the results of the Ministry’s work and plans for the future.

The President of Kazakhstan emphasized the importance of high-quality implementation of the tasks set by the Ministry in order to increase productivity in the agro-industrial complex and export of processed products.

Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev Up to 2022, increase the rate of renewal of the equipment from 2 to 6% and irrigated farming from 1.4 to 2 million hectares, as well as use of a complex of agricultural high-tech systems, diversification of sown areas, improvement of seed quality, fertilizer and the use of plant protection means.

In addition, the Head of State instructed to continue the work on implementation of modern technologies for breeding and reproduction of cattle breeding, creation of family livestock and increasing the use of pastures.
