Gulshara Abdykalikova received credentials of new Ambassadors to Kazakhstan
Secretary of State of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova took part in the ceremony of receiving credentials, Akorda’s press-service reported.
Secretary of State of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova received credentials of the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan on concurrent terms: Carlos D. Sorreta of the Philippines, Mbatna Bandjang of Chad, Julio Cesar Prado Espinosa of Ecuador, Jose Esono Micha Akeng of Equatorial Guinea, Rishi Ram Ghimire of Nepal, Ricardo Ernesto Lagorio of Argentina, Bernardo Cordova Tello of Mexico, and Mohammed Motahar Alashabi of Yemen.
During the conversation with the Ambassador of the Philippines, Gulshara Abdykalikova reported that Kazakhstan is currently pushing forward the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan to adopt the Code of Conduct for achieving a world free from terrorism.
At the meeting with the Ambassador of Chad, the Secretary of State stressed the activities of the Sahel group of five as the most important mechanism to combat terrorism.
“Kazakhstan has set the task to enter into 30 developed countries of the world. We are interested in transferring technologies and attracting foreign partners to innovative reforms in our country”, G. Abdykalikova noted at the meeting with the Ambassador of Ecuador.
During the meeting with the Ambassador of Equatorial Guinea, Gulshara Abdykalikova congratulated on the election to the non-permanent members of the UN Security Council for 2018-2019. She noted that one of the priorities is the fight against international terrorism and violent extremism.
“Perspective areas of cooperation are agriculture, chemical industry, tourism, banking, extraction and transportation of hydrocarbons”, the Secretary said during the conversation with the Ambassador of Nepal.
At the meeting with the Ambassador of Argentina, G. Abdykalikova congratulated on the victory of the city of Buenos Aires to hold the EXPO exhibition in 2023. In the Address of this year, the Head of State defined the tasks for the further development of Kazakhstan in the conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In this regard, she stressed the prospects for the development of cooperation in the field of innovation and digital technologies.
“Mexico is one of the most important partners among the countries of America”, Gulshara Abdykalikova said during her conversation with the Ambassador of that country.
She invited to cooperate on projects on the platform of EXPO-2017: the”Astana” International Financial Center, the International Center for the Development of “green” technologies and investment projects under the auspices of the United Nations and the International Technopark of IT start-ups.
During the meeting with the Ambassador of Yemen, the Secretary noted that Kazakhstan, as a peace-loving state, does not accept the development of a military scenario. We are consistent in supporting the principles of respect for territorial integrity, sovereignty and legally elected authorities.
At the end of the ceremony, State Secretary of Kazakhstan G.N. Abdykalikova congratulated the Ambassadors on the beginning of the diplomatic service in Kazakhstan and wished them success.
