Governor of S Kazakhstan rgn reported to President on region’s prospects
During the meeting Zh.Tuimebayev reported to the President of Kazakhstan on the prospects for the region in the current year, as well as the social and economic development plan of the region until 2021.
The President of Kazakhstan pointed to the low level of tax collection figures, noting that the region is the most subsidized in the country.
Also the Head of State paid attention to the issues of unemployment in the context of labor market regulation.
“There are a high percentage of citizens who are self-employed. The issues of unemployment, migration in South Kazakhstan region always remain relevant. To solve these problems it is necessary to continue to develop small and medium business”, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
In addition, the President of Kazakhstan noted that in the near future Shymkent will be another city in the country, where the number of residents will exceed 1 million people.
The Governor of the region informed Nursultan Nazarbayev about the full support of region’s residents for the goals and tasks set by the President in his Address “The Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: global competitiveness”.
In conclusion, the Head of State gave a number of specific instructions aimed at implementing the objectives of the development of industry, agriculture and the livestock industry, the investment attractiveness of the region.
