Government develops new program on productive employment and mass entrepreneurship
Cabinet of Ministers of Bakytzhan Sagintayev considers new arrangements for involving the unemployed into productive employment and development of mass entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan.
The Minister of Health and Social Development Tamara Duissenova reported at the Government meeting that the main goal of the new program is to involve the self-employed, unemployed and the persons without qualifications into the productive employment. This provides a massive training for skills in demand and the basics of entrepreneurship, creation of conditions for the mass entrepreneurship, labor market development through the promotion of employment and labor mobility support.
The new program will help to find a job or a new profession for the self-employed, unemployed and persons without professional qualifications aged 15-45 with a monthly income below 60,000. It is expected that the support measures will cover about 550,000 people, 84% of whom live in rural areas.
In accordance with the instructions of the Head of State, the Government has developed a new program on the development of productive employment and mass entrepreneurship. The program aims at providing the population with opportunity to increase their income by creating conditions for productive employment.
Productive employment is an activity that is not fictitious and provides workers with income that ensures decent living conditions.
