Germany and Pavlodar region will continue mutually beneficial cooperation
Deputy akim of Pavlodar region Arystan Kabikenov met with Ambassador Extraordinary And Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany Tilo Klinner. The parties held talks on further development of economic and business ties between Pavlodar region And the German Republic.
The Deputy head of the region presented the investment potential of Pavlodar region to the guest and presented a number of projects in the petrochemical industry, engineering and agriculture. He noted that Germany is one of the key partners of our region.
� For eight months of this year, the trade turnover of our region with Germany amounted to 22 million us dollars, said Arystan Kabikenov. From Germany to us in area mechanical engineering products, vehicles, goods of the chemical industry are delivered.
In turn, the German Ambassador Dr. Thilo Klinner thanked for the reception and noted that his working trip is connected with the upcoming visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev to Germany on 5-6 December this year.
The Deputy head of the region noted that Pavlodar region is the most industrially developed region of Kazakhstan.
� The region produces 60 % of coal throughout the country, produces 40% of electricity from the total volume, 65% of all ferroalloys and 100% of aluminum. We have very interesting projects in almost all sectors of the economy that may be of interest to German entrepreneurs.
The Ambassador was also told about the activities of investor House, where potential investors are assisted in the preparation of the necessary documents and are fully supported by investment projects.
The German Ambassador arrived at the head of the economic delegation, which plans to hold a round table with representatives of enterprises of the region in the investor’s House. At the same time, the German delegation will visit JSC KEZ and pnhz, LLP Rubik.
