Four Kyrgyz citizens die in accident near Russia’s Orenburg
Four dead and three injured in an accident near Orenburg (Russia) are Kyrgyz citizens, and another injured is a citizen of Uzbekistan.
On Sunday two cars collided and caught fire on the highway in the Orenburg Oblast: a small Mercedes truck and a minivan, according to specified data, Toyota brand, the press service of the Division of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Department of the Interior Ministry for Sol-Iletsky District said.
All participants of the accident are foreign citizens. A citizen of Uzbekistan was driving a Mercedes truck, he was wounded and is in the surgical department. In the second car, Toyota, driver and all passengers are citizens of Kyrgyzstan. Three passengers are in the intensive care unit, the driver and three other passengers died.
Four victims are in the hospital in Sol-Iletsk, three of whom are in serious condition, and one of whom is in a state of moderate severity, the press service of the regional Health Ministry reported.
The Prosecutor’s Office is investigating an accident on the Orenburg-Akbulak highway, where four people were killed and four others injured.
Currently, law enforcement agencies are working on the scene of the accident, investigating the circumstances of the accident and identifying the dead and injured.
