Financial police of Kyrgyzstan and State Revenue Service of Latvia sign MoU

Chairman of the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic (Financial police) Bakir Tairov and Director General of the State Revenue Service of the Republic of Latvia, Mrs. Ieva Jaunzeme met in Riga, Latvia on Oct. 31, 2019.

The press service of the Financial police reported that the main issue at the meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Financial police and the State Revenue Service of Latvia.

The signing of the Memorandum provides new opportunities for bilateral cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Latvia in effective cooperation in the fight against economic and financial crimes. This document will provide a legal basis for bilateral interaction, strengthen information exchange, and also give a positive impetus to the work of the two departments.

This visit was organized with the support of the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek.
