Farmers of EKR discussed draft law on pastures with deputy
As the Senate’s press service reports, Ust-Kamenogorsk held a meeting with representatives of local authorities, heads of economic entities, akims of rural districts. The deputy noted the importance of the topic, as the issues of rational use of pastures are crucial for increasing agricultural production and the welfare of the villagers. The draft law was approved by the Majilis and sent to the Senate, which is being considered in the first reading.
“At the initiative of the Committee, we have decided to discuss the bill, to listen to the specific proposals from regional specialists and to fulfill all items”, – said Sergey Plotnikov.
Senator answered a number of questions, listened to the comments and suggestions of farmers. As Mr. Plotnikov explained, this dialogue provides an excellent opportunity to consult with people interested in this issue. At the end of the meeting, a package of proposals, additions and changes was formed. It will be discussed at the meetings of the working groups and the relevant committee before the final discussion at the Senate.
The parliamentarian also had a meeting at the East Kazakhstan Agriculture Research Institute. Head Aleksander Tomashenko reported on the activities of the team in the previous years, shared the plans for the future.
