One of the major problems among the younger generation of Kazakhstan is the deterioration of vision.

In general, in Kazakhstan eye disease comes to the first place, this is understandable, since our children often use gadgets and computers. We once wondered why almost 80% of children in Japan and South Korea wear glasses. Now a very serious problem is the issues of deterioration of vision in the younger generation, said Zhandarbek Bekshin, chairman of the public health committee of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, during a press conference at the CCS.

The second, according to the doctor, is a disease of the musculoskeletal system: scoliosis and various types of flatfoot.

The activity of children is falling. And we should also pay attention to this, he stressed. As noted by J. Bekshin, in third place is a respiratory disease.

The disease of the gastrointestinal tract is in fifth place. Naturally, we are paying attention to these issues. There are moments in the context of the fact that gastritis is getting younger; ulcers are also moments of malnutrition. Today, we are paying serious attention to healthy nutrition – we explain to the population about the harmfulness of sweet-carbonated drinks, kireeshek, crackers. They are forbidden in schools and kindergartens, the speaker added.
