EXPO-2017 to be discussed for a long time – Y.Berg

The guests attended the EXPO-2017 exhibition in Astana at the invitation of Governor of Aktobe region Berdybek Saparbayev.

Also, the heads of the delegations held a meeting with Chairman of the board of “NC “Astana EXPO-2017” JSC Akhmetzhan Yessimov and Mayor of Astana Asset Issekeshev.

During the meeting, the Russian guests noted that they were impressed by the scope and scale of EXPO-2017, expressing confidence that the exhibition will become a powerful impetus for the further development of Kazakhstan.

“It is difficult even to assess, so grandiose, large-scale. The main thing that it is for the future. This great event will be discussed for a long time”, Yury Berg was sure.

He stressed that the international exhibition has already contributed to strengthening of interaction between the regions. In particular, within the framework of the interregional cooperation of Aktobe and Orenburg regions, the gifted children of Orenburg region visited EXPO-2017.

The guests also got acquainted with the national complex “Ethnoaul” – the unique cultural-tourist and image project of EXPO-2017, spread out on an area of 2.5 thousand square meters.

Summarizing the results of the trip, Berdybek Saparbayev noted the traditionally friendly relations between our countries.

“The Heads of our States always emphasize that Kazakhstan and Russia are strategic partners that should support each other. Our regions intend to further develop cooperation across the entire spectrum of relationships, including in the areas of economy, culture, sports and education. That’s why we specially invited the Russian colleagues to EXPO to show them the advanced technologies. In our future cooperation, we will necessarily take into account those innovations that we have seen today”, B. Saparbayev said.

We remind that the international specialized exhibition EXPO-2017 was attended by more than 80 thousand Aktobe’s residents.
