Emergency medical settings to be built in 2 Almaty districts

In Turksib and Nauryzbay districts of Almaty, construction of 2 emergency medical settings will start. It became known during the extraordinary XIV session of representative body of the VI convocation on discussion of introducing amendments to the republican and local budget of Almaty in priority directions.

So, the deputies of representative body decided to allocate 5.9 billion tenge for one of the priority directions of Development Program “Almaty-2020” � health care sector.

Thus, in Turksib and Nauryzbay districts, construction of 2 emergency medical settings and diagnostic center of pediatrics will begin. It is provided to allocate additional 2.7 billion tenge for these purposes.

“It is proposed to allocate for the healthcare system – 5.9 billion tenge, 2.8 billion for 376 medical equipment, in the conditions of compulsory social medical insurance to allocate additionally 811.2 million tenge – for more than 3000 computers for medical organizations, 963 million tenge for purchase of 32 vehicles for the ambulance maneuver brigade, which will reduce the car fleet’s deterioration level by 38.5%. And more than 1 billion tenge on providing medicines to 122 patients with rare and orphan diseases”, – Head of the Economy and Budget Planning Department of Almaty Maksat Kikimov noted.

It is to be recalled that will be additionally financed socially vulnerable segments of the population, for which needs will be allocated 1.4 billion tenge. From them over 200 million tenge will be aimed at providing with quality wheelchairs of more than 1300 disabled people of the 1st group, over 500 million tenge for the purchase of sign-and-blind and and hearing aid for 2500 recipients.
