‘ELBASY AND CULTURE’ EXHIBITION OPENED IN NATIONAL MUSEUM
The National Museum of Kazakhstan hosted the grand opening of the Elbasy and Culture exhibition from the collection of the Library of the First President of Kazakhstan, National Museum’s press service reports.
The exhibition’s opening was attended by well-known Kazakhstani people, including Igor Rogov, Kuanysh Sultanov, Darkhan Mynbai, Azat Peruashev, and representatives of foreign embassies.
The purpose of the exhibition, dedicated to the First President of Kazakhstan Day, is to show the role of Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev in reviving culture, promoting the fundamental spiritual values of the multinational people of Kazakhstan at the world level.
The event was opened by director of the Elbasy Library Amerkhan Rakhimzhanov.
Over the years of independence, thanks to the policy of Elbasy Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev, special attention was paid to national culture. The fact that we are today in this beautiful building of the National Museum, opened in 2014, is a vivid confirmation of this. At today’s exhibition, only part of the extensive collection of the Personal Archive of Elbasy is presented. But I am sure that each of you will find among the materials of the exhibition hundreds of familiar faces, each of which represents the historical, literary, musical, scientific heritage of Kazakhstan, he said and congratulated all those present on the upcoming First President’s Day.
The Elbasy and Culture exhibition presented more than 170 documents of various genres.
It is gratifying that one of the first events this year dedicated to the First President’s Day opens at the National Museum. We express our gratitude to the leadership of the Library of the First President for activities aimed at preserving and popularizing the ideas and initiatives of Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev, for the exhibition and unique exhibits telling about the history of our country’s independence and Elbasy’s contribution to its strengthening, director of the National Museum Arystanbek Mukhamediuly said, congratulating everyone on the upcoming public holiday.
It should be noted that the exhibition will be opened until January 5, 2020.
