Efficiency of subsidies and export development: Bakytzhan Sagintayev meets with agricultural producers of SKR

Topical issues of agricultural development were discussed at the meeting. In particular, export potential, subsidizing, attraction of investments in agricultural processing, technological modernization of AIC, development of meat cattle breeding and plant growing.

The Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev noted that the agro-industrial complex of Kazakhstan has a promising future. For many positions, the country can be one of the world’s largest producers of agricultural exports. To this end, the Government is taking all necessary measures: the State Program for the AIC Development is being implemented; a bill has been initiated that provides for the restoration of a clear vertical line of subordination of the veterinary service, incentives are made for the participation of business in scientific research, procurement organizations are subsidized; the policy of subsidizing in favor of export-oriented enterprises is being revised.

Within the framework of the fourth social initiative of the President “Expansion of microcredit,” new opportunities are opening up for agrarians. 20 billion tenge was allocated to finance microcredits. This will be a great support for those who want to start their own business.

First Vice Minister of Agriculture, A. Yevniev, reported on the opportunities of farmers, the progress in the implementation of the President’s Address “New Opportunities Under the Fourth Industrial Revolution” and the fourth social initiative of the Head of State “Expansion of Microcredit.”

During the discussion, director of Ordabasy Qus LLP, M. Tagayev, director of Saryagash Zher Siy LLP, T. Shyntassov, chairman of the Nuraly Zhol farm, Y. Yeraliyev, chairman of the Association of Greenhouses, M. Snabayev also made comments on the topic.
