EAEU, China reached agrt on exchange of customs information
In Moscow, at the fourth round of talks the representatives of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and China reached mutually acceptable agreements on the text of the Agreement on the exchange of customs information.
Head of the negotiating team of the EAEU, director of the EEC Customs Infrastructure Department Bakytbek Baiserkeyev said that at the next round of negotiations the parties will proceed to finalize the document.
To date, there is an understanding that the customs authorities of China and the EAEU will exchange the information about products that result from the PRC to the Union and vice versa after the signing of the Agreement, the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission reported.
This regular exchange of data will increase the level of trust between the member countries of the Agreement, will help to reduce the supply of counterfeit goods, as well as the acceleration of customs operations and customs control.
