E.Idrissov reported to President on Kazakhstan readies to activities in UN Security Council

During the meeting, E. Idrissov reported to the President on the preparations for Kazakhstan’s forthcoming ‘s non- permanent membership in the UN Security Council starting from January 2017.

President of Kazakhstan noted that it is necessaray to focus attention on the 25 th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence during the foreign policy.

“Our ambassadors should demonstrate foreign public achievements of the country over the past 25 years, including the contribution of Kazakhstan to the preservation of peace and tranquility outside the country, in order to increase the country’s prestige in the international arena N. Nazarbayev said.

In addition, the Head of State stressed the importance of visits by foreign official delegations to our country.

The President of Kazakhstan pointed to priority activities carried out within the framework of the forthcoming membership in the UN Security Council, said that the mission is an expression of special confidence of the international community.

Additionally, the Kazakh leader noted that events carried out within the framework of Kazakhstan’s forthcoming non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council are of priority character and emphasized that this mission demonstrates recognition from the international community.

The Foreign Minister said that the preparations for the activities of the Security Council is in its active phase, carried out the distribution management of the Standing Committees.

In addition, E. Idrissov reported on the planned holding a representative international conference in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic.

The Foreign Minister informed the President of Kazakhstan on the upcoming international events, the main of which was called the holding of the international exhibition EXPO-2017.
