E. Idrissov: Foreign investments inflow in Kazakhstan increases fivefold in first half-year
In the first half-year the inflow of foreign investments in Kazakhstan has increased fivefold. This was reported by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Erlan Idrissov during the Government hour at the Mazhilis of the Kazakh Parliament.
Visits of the Head of State to key countries of the world over the past two years have provided obligations in the amount of more than 42 billion dollars. There is significant increase in rates of investment attraction over the first half-year. The net inflow of foreign direct investments over the first six months of 2016 increased by almost five times compared to the same period last year and amounted to 5.7 billion US dollars, E. Idrissov reported.
According to the Minister, there are 19,685 foreign legal entities, affiliates and representative offices as of September 1, 2016. The largest number of joint ventures accounts for Russia, Turkey, the Netherlands, Germany and China.
Number of joint ventures has increased by 25 per cent compared to 2014.
