Draft program “Ruhani Zhangyru – New Humanitarian Knowledge. 100 New Textbooks in the Kazakh Language” discussed in Astana
Within the framework of the round table, various aspects of the implementation of the Ruhani Zhangyru program, in particular, the tasks set by the President during the presentation of the project “New Humanitarian Knowledge. 100 New Textbooks in the Kazakh Language,” were discussed.
The authors of the translation of textbooks into the Kazakh language, experts from the Institute of Eurasian Integration, faculty members, doctoral students and undergraduates took part in the event.
In his welcoming speech, Dean of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science of the L.N. Gumivyov ENU, Professor Kairat Sak, noted the high role of the program article “Bolashakka Bagdar: Ruhani Zhangyru” in the modernization of public consciousness. Professor focused on the research projects of the Faculty in the creation of conditions for the transition of the Kazakh language to the Latin alphabet and the research opportunities for young people.
On behalf of the Institute of Eurasian Integration, the deputy director Natalia Kalashnikova, gave a welcoming speech. According to her, an analysis of sociological studies conducted by the Institute showed the high level of support from the Kazakh society for the modernization processes carried out by the state. The importance of the activity of student youth in the modernization of the national consciousness, the special role of the 100 New Textbooks project in the education of the younger generation was noted. Also, the President’s vision of the strategy in the educational and scientific spheres, which allows “the implementation of the five-year national education,” was particularly emphasized.
During the round table, the participants were given the opportunity to learn in detail the textbooks presented to the Head of State, issued in the framework of the project “100 New Textbooks in the Kazakh Language,” and meet with the author of the translation of the textbook � the head of the Kazakh and Russian languages department of KazGUU University, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Ulan Yerkinbayev, who is working on a new edition.
The master’s and doctoral degree students of the Department of Political Science, who will be taught on the textbooks of the new generation also made comments during the meeting.
