DPRK Fires Unidentified Projectiles

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), fired unidentified projectiles towards the East Sea, on Wednesday (today), Yonhap news agency reported, citing military sources of the Republic of Korea (ROK).

The projectiles were launched from an area in the eastern coastal town of Wonsan, earlier in the day, ROK’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) were quoted as saying.

Further details, such as the type, flight range and maximum altitude of the projectiles were not revealed.

Our military is monitoring the situation, in case of additional launches and maintaining a readiness posture, the JCS said, in a release, according to the Yonhap report
