Domestic Manufacturers of Light Industry Presented their Products at the Exhibition in the Senate
On March 4, the Senate will hold Parliamentary hearings on “Light Industry of Kazakhstan: Current State and Prospects for the Development of High Performance Business”.
As part of the Hearings, on March 2, the Senate opened an exhibition of products of domestic light industry manufacturers, which will last 3 days. It is attended by 23 Kazakhstani companies.
The exhibition presents hosiery products, casual clothing, samples of bed linen and textiles for the home: blankets, pillows, towels, bedspreads, textile woolen products. In addition, you can see samples of school uniform trousers, skirts, pinafore dresses, vests, jumpers.
Also the products of domestic manufacturers include outerwear, special and uniform clothing, hats, as well as carpets and carpet products.
While preparing to the hearings, the Committee on Economic Policy, Innovation Development and Entrepreneurship held 5 meetings under auspices of the Senate Chairperson Dariga Nazarbayeva with representatives of state bodies, entrepreneurs and all interested parties on the manufacture of leather and footwear products, textile production and raw material production, sewing and knitting production, on the issue of placing a state defense order, as well as on the issue of the sales areas. In addition, field meetings were held, during which members of the Committee got acquainted with the activities of light industry enterprises in Atyrau, Almaty, Shymkent and Nur Sultan.
