The economic specialization of the Astana metropolitan area is the provision of financial, highly specialized medical and educational services of the world level, as well as the development of high-tech industries. Within the framework of the Digital Kazakhstan State Program a model concept of Smart Cities was developed, which defines the fundamental principles, approaches, goals, priorities and tasks of implementing Smart City technologies. The road will be built for the I technical category with four-lane traffic. In accordance with the agreement, construction work was started in 2017 and the completion of the project is expected in 2019,” Kassymbek noted.
