The akimat considers it necessary to change the form of ownership for the a similar funding of the Almaty childrens village.
The issue of financing for the orphans and children with no parental care was raised by SOS Childrens Villages earlier. As a result, in 2015, local executive bodies got recommendation to consider a phased transition to the full financing for the orphans and children with no parental care in SOS Childrens Villages until 2020.
Following the meeting, Vice Prime Minister I.Tasmagambetov tasked the akimats of Karaganda region, Almaty and Astana cities to provide support to SOS Childrens Villages of Kazakhstan Corporate Fund in celebrating the 20th anniversary of childrens villages of Kazakhstan.
In addition, Vice Prime Minister stressed the need to purchase the necessary equipment and consider a phased transition to the full coverage of financing until 2020.
To ensure the rights of children to live and grow up in an intact family, the SOS Childrens Villages of Kazakhstan Corporate Fund should consider creating foster families from among SOS-mothers with following independent living, as well as a transforming SOS childrens villages into the support centers for children in difficult life situation.
