To date, it is important to study the scientific works in accordance with modern requirements, and the features and the role of Alash movement in a tough struggle for independence.

In the beginning of XX century the Alash movement played an important role in the long struggle for independence. Creating the first political party showed competence and high potential of the Kazakh politicians, I.Tasmagambetov noted.

We need to carefully prepare for the 100th anniversary of the Alash movement. The most important now is to develop a plan within two weeks, which has to be then coordinated by the Head of State. The 100th anniversary of the Alash movement should not be in that time, just in history, it must be linked to the modern independent state. Goals and dreams of Alash movement leaders, their implementation, the establishment of independent state should increase the national and historical consciousness of the people, the Vice Prime Minister stressed.

The meeting covered the transfer of Akhmet Baitursynov House Museum to the state ownership with assigning the republican status.

Following the meeting, I.Tasmagambetov instructed the Ministry of Culture and Sport to examine the biography of Alash Orda founders and to create artistically-biographical book, and to release a 10-volume scientific heritage of Akhmet Baitursynov.

The Akhmet Baitursynov House Museum will soon enter the state list of cultural and historical monuments of national importance.

The Vice Prime Minister also tasked the Ministry of Education and Science to transfer the abovementioned museum to state ownership and to establish a scientific center under the Institute of Linguistics named after A.Baitursynov.
