Deputy Chairman of the Senate Bektas Beknazarov clarified the new law to teachers of Shymkent


Today, the Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bektas Beknazarov, as well as senators Nurlan Beknazarov and Aigul Kapbarova, visited Shymkent on a working trip.

During the trip, deputies got acquainted with the socio economic situation of the city, visited a number of industrial and social facilities. The deputies also discussed laws adopted by Parliament, issues of spiritual modernization and preservation of national values.

In turn, Bektas Beknazarov met with the pedagogical community of the city to clarify the law “On the status of a teacher” and some changes in the legislation. The vice speaker of the upper house said that the document sets out in detail the rights and obligations of teachers in their professional activities.

Last year, the Senate and the Majilis adopted 83 laws aimed at improving the quality of life of the population. The deputies of both houses in legislative work took into account the socio strategic initiatives of the First President Elbasy and the instructions of the Head of State to support the population. The main thing is that all the adopted documents are aimed at supporting and protecting the population, said the vice speaker of the Senate.

During the working meeting, the city akim Erlan Aytakhanov acquainted the deputies with the results of the socio economic development of the metropolis in 2019. Having told in detail about the work done in the fields of industry and education, health and culture, the mayor shared plans for the development of the metropolis for the current year.

In addition, the senators got acquainted with the state of the engineering infrastructure of the Badam residential area, where more than 3 thousand people live. Appropriate funding was allocated from the state budget to provide residents with high quality electricity, natural gas and drinking water, as well as for the construction of roads. It is planned to completely solve the communal problems of the Badam residential area by the end of this year.

Bektas Beknazarov emphasized that each deputy needs to make a deputy request in case of delay or misuse of the budget, and to identify such cases, senators need to meet with the population more often.
