Days of green economy start in Bishkek. Businessmen from different countries are expected to attend

A week of green economy has started in Bishkek, within the framework of which three large meetings of business circles of Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Germany and other countries will be held, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Choro Seyitov told at a press conference at Kabar Agency.

He specified that the Bishkek Investment Forum BIF 2022 will be held on November 10. On Friday, November 11, the regional forum “Green Economy – 2022” will be held. The Green Expo exhibition will be opened on its site.

“All these activities are interconnected. Many enterprises and organizations will take part in them. There will be also participants from abroad. In particular, from Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Germany. They will exchange experiences. The exhibition will show achievements in green economy, green construction, ecological transport,” Seyitov said.

He noted that the main goal of these events is to establish and increase the potential of business ties, exchange experience and develop common positions to promote the green economy at the global level.

The chairman of the JIA business association, Zhoodar Omoshov, added that 1,500 entrepreneurs will take part in the Bishkek forum.

“This year we are focusing on the economic integration of the countries of Central Asia. Since the beginning of the year, we have accepted more than 200 projects to attract investments, among which we have selected 20 for the competition of investors,” he said.
