Dauren Abayev presents award pins on Communication and Information Worker’s Day
Minister of Information and Communications Dauren Abayev congratulated communication and information workers on their professional holiday and presented them with lapel pins.
This is a very important day and an important holiday. (…) Yesterday during the presentation of our bill, many questions were asked about the status of journalists, about its importance. I hope that this Urker award is a big step in this direction, � the Minister said at the award ceremony.
Thus, the lapel pin “Uzdik Maylanysshy” was presented to 5 communication workers. The lapel pin “Akparat salasynyn uzdigi” was given to 6 media workers, including Press Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Almas Sadubayev.
Recall, receipt of applications for participation in the national award in the field of print, radio, Internet journalism Urker 2017 began in early May this year. The prize is awarded in 15 nominations: the best photo, best reportage, best analysis finding, best journalistic investigation, best interview, best educational piece about Kazakhstan, best international analysis, debut in journalism, best radio program, best regional radio station, best regional printed press, best specialized printed press, best magazine of the year, media breakthrough in Kaznet, best National printed press. More than 700 applications were received.
This award was founded by the Ministry of Information and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The ceremony was organized by JSC Kazcontent.
