The Minister of Information and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dauren Abaev explained why the second phase of the project 100 New Persons of Kazakhstan is needed, ortcom.kz reports citing MIA Kazinform

For me, these objects are not built objects. Behind these posters are the stories of strong people who make our country better, said Dauren Abaev, answering the moderator’s question during the Open Dialogue program on Khabar TV channel.

Note that last fall, the launch of the second phase of the project 100 New Faces of Kazakhstan was announced.

According to the minister, all the work on identifying the winners has been completed and at present the Ministry of Information and Communications is preparing for a large presentation of the results.

I think that in the first half of February of this year, the country will learn the success stories of new people in our country, he explained.

The Minister also commented on the opinion on why the second phase of the project 100 New Faces of Kazakhstan is needed.

To begin with, I want to clarify that in the second stage we chose not 100 people, but much less. We are talking about dozens of successful Kazakhstanis. Secondly, practice has shown that there is a great demand from the public for this. For example, over two years, more than 4 thousand applications were submitted for participation in the project. Voted hundreds of thousands of people. Thirdly, the competition showed that Kazakhstan is rich in new modern heroes, about which, unfortunately, we know little, and the project is designed to fill this gap, said Dauren Abaev.
