Dauren Abaev set the task for Astana Hub to attract 4.8 billion tenge of investments
The Minister of Information and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dauren Abayev told about some of the results of the work of the innovation park of start-ups Astana hub, reports ortcom.kz with reference to the MIA Kazinform.
The International Technopark Astana Hub is already showing good results at the start. At present, three acceleration programs have been conducted, according to the results of which 47 startups were selected, more than 180 million tenge of investments were attracted, the minister said at an expanded meeting of the board of the MIC of RK.
According to him, this year the task is to attract already 4.8 billion tenge of investments.
In this regard, I instruct the Vice-Minister Dinara Scheglova together with the holding Zerde to work out the appropriate Roadmap. As has been repeatedly stated, a lot of rule-making work was carried out in terms of venture financing, and in terms of creating favorable conditions for both investors and IT companies, the head of department noted.
He stressed that this year the work on the improvement of legislation will continue. In particular, a draft law on introducing changes and amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the regulation of digital technologies has been developed. The law is intended to create a basis for legal regulation of the speedy implementation of technologies such as blockchain, big data, artificial intelligence, robotization, D. Abaev concluded.
