Content of harmful particles in air in Bishkek is moderate: data

According to the Agency for Hydrometeorology under the State Committee on Ecology and Climate of Kyrgyzstan, a moderate content of particulate matter PM 2.5 is observed in the air Bishkek on Nov. 24.

 

The press service of the capital’s Mayor’s Office reported that the average annual level of PM-2.5 should not exceed 10 µg/m3, and the average daily level should not exceed 25 µg/m3, according to standards of the World Health Organization (WHO).

 

“Thus, today in some districts of Bishkek the amount of particles does not exceed 9 µg/m3,” the report said.

 

The Mayor’s Office of the capital on a daily basis will provide statistical data on air pollution.
