Consular consultations between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates were held in Abu Dhabi
ABU DHABI, The second meeting of consular consultations between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates took place. The Kazakh delegation was headed by Taubdy Umbetbayev, Director of the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mansour al-Fahim, the Adviser on Consular Affairs of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the consular sphere. In particular, they discussed issues of mutual consular-legal and visa relations, as well as the protection of the rights and interests of the citizens of the two countries.
Relations between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates are developing dynamically in all areas, especially in political, trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The Agreement on exemption of national passports holders from visa requirements between Kazakhstan and the UAE, signed on May 23, 2017, due to close and mutually beneficial cooperation, came into force on March 10, 2018.
Moreover, this year On July 4-5, the General Prosecutor of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Minister of Justice of the UAE signed the Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons.
