Civil peace and inter-ethnic harmony are prerequisites for state’s dev’t-President
Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov received Chairman of the Council of the People’s Assembly of Kyrgyzstan Abdygany Erkebayev and Director of the State Agency for Local Self-Government and Inter-Ethnic Relations under the Government (SALSGIR) Bakhtiyar Saliyev, his press service said.
Measures to improve state policy on inter-ethnic relations were discussed.
The President emphasized civil peace and inter-ethnic harmony are prerequisites for the sustainable development of any state. He stressed the need to develop effective measures to strengthen the unity of the people and the development of ethnic diversity in Kyrgyzstan.
Sooronbay Jeenbekov noted the special role of the Council of the People’s Assembly of Kyrgyzstan and SALSGIR in the consolidation of society, strengthening the unity of the people and common civil identity in the country.
The sides also exchanged views on the state policy of regional development and measures to improve it.
Abdygany Erkebayev and Bakhtiyar Saliyev informed President Jeenbekov about completion of the new national document on all possible assistance to strengthen inter-ethnic harmony, civil peace and unity of the people of Kyrgyzstan.
The document will reflect modern, relevant measures taking into account the realities and challenges of today.
