CIS CMJ familiarize with work of Kyrgyz Justice Ministry on switching of public services into e-format

State Secretary of the Ministry of Justice of Kyrgyzstan Ulugbek Kalenderov on Nov. 26- 27, 2019 took part in the 14th meeting of the Council of Ministers of Justice of the Commonwealth of Independent States( CIS CMJ), held in Minsk, Belarus.

This event was organized by the Belarusian Ministry of Justice and was devoted to the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Belarus’ justice bodies, the press service of the Justice Ministry of Kyrgyzstan said.

The meeting focused on the issues, related to the improvement of mechanisms for the provision of public services by the CIS justice ministries, the development of free legal aid to citizens, as well as the role of justice ministries in combating corruption.

At the same time, Ulugbek Kalenderov delivered a report on Development of legal services by the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In the report, the information was provided on the work of the Kyrgyz Justice Ministry on switching public services into electronic format, and the implementation of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic On the State-Guaranteed Legal Aid.

As part of his visit, State Secretary Kalenderov visited the Department of State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs of Belarus.

During the visit, he got acquainted with the Register’s activities and the functioning of the web portal of the Unified State Register, through which the registration procedures are carried out in electronic format.

The next meeting of the CIS Council of Ministers of Justice will be held in 2020 in Bishkek.
